    Default Brunswick

Hello Lilly Pad, the fishing in Brunswick is very good this time of year if you know where to go. I have never fished there but if you can afford to charter look up Capt. Nobles at Saint Simons Island. he will put you on some nice speckled sea trout and red fish. Good luck! Jimmy S.

it's still there. altamaha regional park. excellent fishing on the lower altamaha and lots of dead lakes and creeks off of it. but be careful, the tide affects that section of the river.

The altamaha river is extremely high right now. Be careful there is water everywhere. If you want good seafood hit hwy 17 north from brunswick thru darien to eulonia. turn right at the light and follow signs to the buccaneer and order the seafood platter. If you want a good steak try the red barn on st. simons. The ribeye is excellent. If your travels bring you close to baxley, ga off hwy #1 try benton lees at grays landing. Huge steaks and located right on the altamaha river. Bona petit. Andy

    Default Wow! Memories

Thanks for bringing back some good memories of Brunswick and that area. I was stationed in the Navy there from 65 - 70. Made a few trips to the Buccaneer then and still do anytime I am in the area. Yep, the best seafood around. Used to drive up just past Darien, put in our boat and go across the sound to Blackbeard Island, rent a row boat (no motors allowed) and catch a ton of fish. Gators and snakes all over the place. That was along time ago but we had a ball going over there.
