maybe my mind is twisted, but whos to say this doesnt turn out to be one big lie from the little girl.( yall watch steve wilkos and jerry springer?) thats the way i would think from the outside. now if it was the girls father. damn right i would be kickin someones ******. guilty or not it would be hard to hold back with just the thought of it. but, sometimes ya never know what you will do until your in that situation. so i would need more info than the short story to decide if it was right or not.

I'm like Papsage. I can see these three relatives sent to prison for a very long time and the rapest getting 6 months, if that. I am sure his lawyer will use that to help get him off altogehter.
What these three did was no more than most, if not all, of us would do if that were one of ours. I have a 13 year old myself and wonder just how far I could go if it were her. I pray I never have to find out.
Funny thing is just last night my 16 year old told me I was over-protective. For the life of me I cannot see where she got that:D

I could easily see me going into a blind rage over something like this. I'd kill a man with whatever I could get my hands on. This man is lucky he's still alive and that's unfortunate for the family.

If this guy is convicted, his beatings have only just begun...Prisoners are fathers too and also look (very very) down upon this and he will be raped if not killed while in there...You can bet on that

I used to work at GSP in Reidsville some years ago. Unless things have changed they will keep him in Protective Custody for the first few years. He will be closely "protected" until the prison officals are sure he will not be harmed. Now of course that doesn't mean he won't be but they will make an extra effort to insure his safety.
I can't imagine what that family is going through. I also can't help but think that if more of this type of vengence was allowed to happen less of it would happen. I am all for bringing back public hangings.

I hate to say this, the law is written for the criminal. It is to protect his/her rights, not the rights of the victum(s). I have been a Guardian ad Litem for abused children in Florida for 21 years. You would be amazed how abusers have been able to get a slap on the wrist for abusing defenseless children. There is justice, even though it may take time - two cases the abusers were sentenced to 25 plus years. One lasted 4 months before his fellow inmates stuck a shive in him. The other lasted almost 8 moths and he suffered the same fate. By the way, this was after the inmates returned them the favor.
As to the family, they will be facing the judical system. That is the law. The lady holding the scales of justice is blindfolded to protect the rights of the accused. This is going to cost these realivtives a lot of money. Even if they are aquitted by a jury, it is still very, very expensive.
If it was me, the heck with the expense, justice is mine even if it is against the law. You will not do this to my daughter and future others.
I wish them good luck.
