Christamas Challenge
Got a Christmas challenge for everyone. While eating lunch today in Augusta, I noticed a young solder probably from Fort Gordon eating alone. Got me thinking about not only the Christmas Season, but how it feels to be alone. Be a little more aware of those around you. Any person, especially older folks and the military eating alone, may feel just that, LONELY. Christmas is a very lonely time of year (hell every holiday) when you are away from love ones, have lost a love one or maybe not having any family to share your life with. Until you experience this, you will never know how painful it can be. Well back to the story. I paid for her meal, told her that I appreciated her service and wished her a Merry Christmas. Experience the reaction you will ALWAYS get when you do this. Buy someone's meal and tell them you appreciate them or just wish them a Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! YOU WILL BE THE ONE THAT RECEIVES THE GIFT! TRY IT!

That is a good feeling to help anyone in need or as you say alone and lonely. I have 2 older widows that love fish and it is a joy to see their faces when i give them a big bag of fillets on a regular basis. I have other elderly folks that i give fillets but none of them want them on a regular basis like the widows mentioned. The sad part is most of them have family that fishes and some catch a lot of fish but won't even give them any. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
