Nice video!
I figured the rut would be kicking in this weekend with this cold and I have to work.
They better watch out starting Monday, though!

Just like a woman they can even frustrate males from other species not just us![]()
Yep. Highs later this week are in the upper 40's!!!!! She watched a few bucks pushing does from daylight till 10 AM. I had 239 pics on a camera in 4 days of several bucks and a few of them about to throw down. Found several spots on the field edge where I am pretty sure they were fighting. Most all of the bucks I have on camera have broken tips or complete tine or even one that broke off at skull on left side. Ruff crowd. This is in South Houston County. Got another tract in Unadilla that they are just now starting to rub and watched a young buck grunt and chase a small doe yesterday evening. First time I heard that clicking sound that I have heard other people talking about. If I hadn't seen him while he was doing it, I would have never believed it. Good luck next week.

I hunt in Bleckley off of 112...I killed a decent 8 pointer 2 weeks ago during the last cold snap. I have been seeing some chasing at the plant...Thursday morning I saw a HOSS buck trailing a doe in the back field next to Oaky Woods.
BTW...what deer call app is your wife using? I looked at the app store but there is a heap of them to pick through...never thought of using my smartphone to grunt up a deer. LOL
