Any advice for parking at Georgia Dome/ Monster Jam?

Im taking my daughter to Monster Truck event at the Georgia Dome in January. I cant buy parking ticket from Georgia Dome website(i did last year), they are not offered. I guess they are sold out. Anybody know if I will be able to find parking lot nearby? $20 or less. 10 or less would be better. Dont want to have to walk a mile. Would it be better to park at a Marta station and ride the rail line?

It only takes about 2 hours to get Downtown from where I live. Took 4 hours when we went last year. Boat show, pro basketball game, monster trucks and concerts had traffic stopped forever. Marta would keep me from being stuck in traffic, but if I drove downtown at least I would be stuck in my car, with my radio, a/c, and my space.

Go to the Ga. Dome website and click on Getting here. Then click on MARTA and it gives good directions. Coming from Anderson south on I-85 I would get on I-285 and go down to the east entrance to marta and it will carry you straight to the Dome with no transfers. Good luck and have a good time.

Thanks for the advice. I didnt think about going to the east and ride west on Marta. Was looking at parking on the north side but that left a transfer to get to dome.

I go to one of the MARTA stations near the loop and take the train to the Dome....
