Plans for Senior Citizens Fish Fry are Final

Just got thru talking to the people at the local Senior Citizens Center and the plans are final. The date for this event is going to be June 10th at the "Reginald Barry Senior Citizens Center" which is located behind "Carter Burgers" and their address is 1213 South 7th Street in Cordele Georgia. This event is gonna be a little bigger than the nursing home fries so we will need alot of volunteers. The center is supplying all the oil and meal but we will be furnishing the fish, hush puppies, french fries, cold slaw, cheese grits. Please let me know if you will be able to help and what you can bring and I will add you to the list.

Sounds like it may work out for a volunteer day off of work? About how many folks are going to be fed? Trying to figure out how much of the other items will be needed. Will let you know when I figure out for sure if I can be there.

Dan, we need to have enough fish, hush puppies, cheese grits and cole slaw made up for 130 people on the meals on wheels program and need to have all that done by 9am because they start delivering them by 9:30am. The noon time meal at the center has on average 40 people attending. I know that is alot of people to fix for but I know we can do it. I have already got someone that is gonna supply all the french fries.
