    Default Can't start boat


    Can't get power at the key on the outboard no power cant even getm the trim to go up or down battery fully charged ,have not found any blown fuses ...how can i get power directly to ignition switch from battery..HELP!!!!

    Check and clean your battery connections......also on your out board....check and clean the postive battery connection at the starter.....then most importand check where your negative battery wire connects to the ground ( Motor block or housing)........sometimes they will lose ground thereclean it up good, scrape paint etc. and re connect and tighten.

    could be your neutral safety switch . some time you can hold key and move leaver back and fourth.
