Hello Sage, that will make a nice fishing boat when you finish. I did the same thing to my jon boat, I biult a deck on the front and mounted a motor guide 53 pound thrust foot controled trolling motor on it. man it will push that thing right along. I guess I did it for someone else, don;t look like I will be able to use it. o well that's life, show us some pictures as you go. my best to miss Faye. Jimmy S.
