Finally found fish on Oconee.

[RIVER HAWK]

Shot docks of Oconee yesterday from 10:45am til 6:30pm. Balzy Blue Fin-S shad was the color. Found the fish on the first dock and caught over 30. Pulled 6 out from under the fist dock and caught 1 to 3 under every dock. Now that might not sound like many to some of you high number folks, but these were huge. Found two bank fisherman that had been at it all day. The first old guy said the nicest thing. He asked my name. He said when he and his family blessed this meal of fine fish, he wanted to bless me by name. This touched my heart. He said I really made his day. I told him he was the one that made my day. The second guy had caught two GIANTS he called them. They were maybe 3/4 lbs. I gave him 8 that were all over 1 1/2 lbs. He could not pack up quick enough. He said he was going home because his family was eating fish tonight. Could not have been a more perfect day. Beautiful day, caught fish, and experienced the joy of others.

Sounds like a great day! Catching fish like that, you should be fishing the slabmasters classic next week Hawk. 7 of those 1.5s both days would probably win the tourney. I'm gonna try and hit oconee monday or tuesday of next week.
