Default Rusty at Lake Talquin Lodge

I have talked to a few people today at LTL and it "appears" that Rusty had a stroke this morning. That is all that we know as of now. Please remember him and his family in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Rusty is a fan of all fishermen. Many people shop there because of his personality and williness to help along with getting your money's worth of minnows, crickets , or tackle. Please remimber him in your prayors tonight.

Thats exactly right!!...Just got a call from a friend at LTL and said that it looks like Rusty will be OK..He is in Dothan at the hospital. His speech is a little slurred and the doctors are going to keep him in the hospital for a few days to make sure he is OK before sending him home.

I came home about 2 hrs. ago from LTL and the feelings of tension and concern lay heavy on the whole campground. I hope and pray he'll be behind the counter tomorrow chuckling and making everyone smile...

Knowing Rusty, thats exactly where he would be if they released him today:D..Maybe thats why they are gonna keep for a couple of more days. A little rest will be good for him.

Thumbs up Prayers on the way....

Rusty and Pat are good people. He has always pointed me in the right direction when I ask where the fish are biting. I look forward to seeing him behind the counter again on my next visit.

We are praying for Rusty and thanking THE GOOD LORD that it sounds like Rusty will be OK. If anyone knows of anything we can do please let us know. Rusty and Pat make everyone feel welcome and treat everyone like family when we are there.

Man I hate to hear this, Prayers being sent up for both Rusty and Pat. I actually thought about calling him this afternoon to see what the water conditions were like. I tell ya guys if everyone in this world was like Mr Rusty then the world would be a better place. There are very few times I travle home to Ms for Spring or Christmas breaks that I don't stop buy just to stock up on jigs and shoot the bull
Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.
