Default Boat Decal for 10FT Bass Hunter

I tried to register a second boat online and the GA.DNR would not allow me , then I began filling in the mail in form that states for vessels 12ft and larger.
I called the DNR and this young girl tells me that all boats have to registered even if it only has an electric motor, does anyone know the regulation for this size boat.

    Thank you

I have a scanoe (canoe with a flat back) with a trolling motor on it and DNR would not let me put it into the lake because it was not registered. He told me that if I took the motor off and left it in the truck that I could put the scanoe into the lake.

Registration is required for all mechanical propelled vessels AND sailboats over twelve feet in length that are used on "Waters of the State". I take it the 12 feet in this statement only relates to sailboats. Did she give any guidance or reason for the online registration for not taking your 10 foot?

It wasn't the size of the boat but, the site itself wouldn't let me register it because I had already registered another boat online ?
