I am about ready, probably need to get a few more jigs and jig heads but i have enough to last a while. Hope to be able to try it around the middle or late October. Have you been trying them any?

I saw Joey yesterday in Nahunta and he is on me about the next reunion, I told him it depends on the date.

I missed the last reunion because it was a bad date for me. Hope to get there the next one. I get an email from Joey periodically. As far as fishing goes I have been mostly shooting docks this summer and we have done pretty good. James Jackson and Jimmy Jones, both of whom you have met, went last week and caugh 60 by around 2 PM. I am going in the morning with Jimmy unless the weather gets worse. There have been some floods last night and today in North Ga. I tried trolling one afternoon but did not do much - 8 cats and 2 crappie. Trolling should pick up soon. Depends on the weather. If we have another hot spell it will delay but lately temps have gone down (air and water). I do budgets for two hopsitals this time of the year and will be bogged down thru the 3rd week of Oct but I will get in a day or two when I can. After that I will be going a couple of times a week until...... Hopefully we can team up sometime this fall or winter.

I am ready for some cooler weather and getting in some fishing. Maybe we can get together some and you can give me some more lessons.

Went shooting docks yesterday. Rained all morning and very hard for about an hour but the wind was not bad. The bite was good. We kept 42. When the rain stopped so did the bite. My feet were a little wet but other than that I was dry. I hate fishing with a hood on thought. But if it's raining or very cold it's better than the alternative. We'll get together sometime. Maybe the wife can come next time as I know she doesn't want to be left out.
