Default Restoration of my River Boat

a/k/a, my Gheenoe "Original" 15 - this is the one made in GA, now known as a River Hawk. Well anyway, the Sea Chaser is down for a fried trolling motor so I used the 'free' time to finish restoring my trusty old Gheenoe.

A Meguiar's fiberglass restoration kit did a great job of bringing the 20-year old gelcoat back to life. I also repainted the interior with epoxy resin, mounted a new pair of seats, plus new decals I got from the manufacturer.

Then I ground out and epoxied the dings and ramp rash on the keel. I did have a wild hair - which is tough for an old bald guy - and applied a poor man's keel guard with Herculiner bed liner that I picked up on clearance at Walmart. Only time and resale value will tell if the latter was a good move.

Besides the electric currently mounted, I have a 6hp Johnson that moves it along nicely.
