You all ought not pick on that poor fellow. What really happened was, there is a boat ramp across the lake directly from where this ramp is. Now the guy was backing the truck in and his wife was in the boat to back the boat off the trailer. Well seems she forgot to unhook the boat from the trailer and she dragged that poor fellow clear across the lake cause it easier to pull something straight back than it is to try to manuver the truck forward . Now that's what relly happened, Believe it or Not. hehehe Ferdi aka Fred Now that's my story and I'm stickin to it.....

I think if he will pull his truck up another 15ft. he will be able to get the boat off the trailer.

I put mine in backward on a wooden ramp that had ice on it once. But never truck first. My engine was running, lights were on and needless to say it was cold. The wrecker driver said it would be an extra $100 if he got wet. So to add insult to injury I had to go hook it up myself. Also it floated a good ways away before it finally hit bottom. The funny thing was I got it running again and traded it in on a new truck a week later. I did tell them what had happened though.
