Curious if you think that should mean limits do not apply to out of state fishermen?

I think he was just saying that the local economy is supported by out of staters and if they feel like they are being constantly stopped by the game warden then they may just find somewhere else to go fishing. I don't think it has anything to do with limits.
not in the least...i have been fishing there for over twenty years and never had a ticket....had creels checked....checked possessions at the cabin...checked for pfds...whistles, firextinguishers....we also set personal size limits on fish...i guess i just didn't like his attitude...maybe i read more into it than i should have but will be there in june
Maybe the wife didn't make his coffee that day or he had to take the kids to school before work?
I understand exactly what your saying, however if you are abiding by the laws you actually should be glad your getting checked. There are a few people every year that come here and absolutely rape our waters. Only a handful get caught each year. I am sure glad to hear they are checking people frequently. I hope word gets around and it slows down a bit. Granted we do get a few jackwagons with a mission of everyone guilty, but they seem to weed out rather quickly. I applaud the FWC for checking on folks.
There are to much to fish for to get caught over..We usually stay a week.If we get our limit of bream,we can always fish for specs, catfish, bass, and my personal favorite mullet.I go with my 2 brothers, and 3 or 4 friends. We use to have 8-10 to go but a couple have died and age has stopped some.It is not about the limits but rather the good times, memories and friends and family.I can't wait for June.
Question and answer time. If you catch and fillet a limit of a particular fresh water fish in a 24 hour period and the next 24 hour period do the same thing are you allowed to possess additional fish of that species fish during any period immediately following the initial 48 hours...keeping in mind the fillets are packages and put in refrigeration. Is there something in writing that speaks to this exact matter:dono
You can possess a double limit of freshwater game fish while in Florida. Example: 100 panfish each, dressed or not. When you get home you can freeze them and go back and catch more. Same for Georgia. If you go to a lake you can only have a double limit on ice. I know, I have had to count them for the DNR and you better not have one over the limit. There is a fine and you will need to go to Florida's school.....
