We are gonna be down at Georgia Boys Fish Camp the week of May 11th. Is anybody going down this week at the St Johns River area?

When I was REAL young we went down many times each year and stayed at George Southwell's Driftwood Motel and Fish Camp. I have many memories of fishing the shell bar near the Hwy 17 bridge and the barges in Wilson cove. I am going up there the week of May 11th and revisit some of these old spots. Do any of you know any of George's kids and do they live in Palatka?

It would be great if anybody has the GPS numbers for those old barges or the Shell Bar north of the 17 Bridge.

I'm headed down to fish with Father n law that week Danbo. He lives in Seville. And I've heard of at least 2 other boats headed that way the same week.

May want to pick up a couple gold spinners to add to these just in case. I haven't tried them with the spinner yet. I don't think it would hurt a bit.
