Hi,
my Name is Cecil living in Highlands County , Florida. I am a retired teacher who enjoys fishing. I started about Year ago making fishing lures from carved top water baits, spinner baits, bass jigs and of course crappie jigs.
I have primarily been a bass fisherman for the past 50 years but have started crappie fishing also . Very enjoyable as I’ve gotten older.
Hopefully I can add a little to this site as well as learn a whole lot about crappie fishing and jig tying.
50 years ago I lived in Okeechobee Florida and fished for crappie. Most everyone used a “no- alibi jig or a Hal- fly jig. I hope someone can provide me some info or pictures of these two jigs and colors so maybe I can try to make one close to fish with.
