New Guy just moved to Talquin

Howdy!

Just got into Freshwater/Bass a couple years ago, now I want to try and learn about Crappie.

Always fished saltwater growing up, spinning and fly. Been living on Talquin for a couple months now, only tried for Crappie a couple times but no luck as of yet, I was trolling and kept getting hung up in the bottom. I have tied flies for quite a few years, I tied a few crappie jigs but don't have any pics so I'll attach a Shrimp and a basic baitfish pattern (saltwater stuff). At the rate I was breaking off road runners I am going to have to tie a lot more jigs, or I'll be broke before I learn this game HAHA.
