im fairy new to Crappie fishing, I fished a decent amount growing up but that was putting a live worm on a hook and watching a bobber for hours. I stopped fishing in my teens and never really fished until last year. My oldest son who is 14 got to go striper fish at a camp for kids with health problems and fell in love with fishing so I started taking him last summer and have gotten in to it myself.
I am am enjoying my time with my kids but I can't say we are catching anything. I know we would enjoy it more if we were getting a few bites. I have invested in decent poles plus have a few good ones that were my dads. I have spent money on good lures, slip bobbers etc. (that's a good thing about Crappie fishing even the quality stuff won't brake the bank) anyhow I know it's mostly something I am doing wrong is why we are not catching anything. I have been reading, watching videos and am now here so I can learn more and we can catch something. Hopefully you guys can educate me and we can catch fish.
