Hi, all! Thanks for the welcome. Just a little about myself: I have been fishing from docks and boathouses for probably 20 years off and on on my home lake of Guntersville. Never tried to catch crappie from a boat, so I just walked the boat docks near my house and fished out of my buddies boathouse. Never really caught many, or many large ones. A few years ago I got a kayak for the heck of it and started piddling around the lake and catching a few bass here and there. Lateley, the crappie bug has bitten hard and I've been much more interested in trying my hand at catching a few. The wealth of knowledge on this forum and the hospitality of it's members led me to join. I'm looking forward to learning much more here, and maybe even contributing some myself.
