On yesterdays trip we found crappie located at 33-36 feet. They are trying to get into their winter pattern of deeper water on the flats but have not made it yet. Water temperature was still at 57 degrees. It was very windy on the flats but we managed to catch several nice slabs on minnows and electric chicken colored jigs. All our fish were caught one crank off the bottom. Put in at the Minnow Bucket and fished the flats just out from Little Caney.
