Thanks for the welcome guys!
Just got around to filling out my profile, but I have been lurking on here for a while now, and reading about all of the crappie yall are catching, and how to do so. Crappie are kind of in my backyard, so I don't know what has taken me so long to get interested in them. I fish mainly in Lake Murray and the Saluda River, but I'm not too far from Lake Greenwood either. I have fished mostly for striper, and I have a lot of saltwater experience (Inshore and offshore.)
My primary goal has been to get set up for Spider rigging in the front of my boat. I am using a 19 foot Mako center console to fish out of. I just bought 8 12 foot South Bend rods (Crappie Stalkers), and I picked up some Shimano reels from Monk's. I have got to get my Driftmasters and my seat mounted to the bow of the boat and I'll be ready to go.
Thanks again,
David Padgett
