    Default Greetings from Oklahoma City!

Hi, I've been browsing this site as a guest for a while and finally decided to join. I spend about 9 months of my year in Oklahoma City and the other 3 in Houston, TX. I mostly fish for bass and catfish, but I do catch the occasional crappie from time to time and they are always a blast! I'm here mostly to learn because I've only caught about 30 crappie in my life, although I'm sure there are people on this site who routinely catch 30 crappie in a day. I mostly bank fish because I don't really have access to a boat or a trailer. Hopefully I can gain some insight here on how to bank fish for crappie and maybe go on a fishing trip or something.

I lived in okc for a while. Arcadia was always good for a quick trip. It's tuff this time of year the water temp is pretty high and the fish move out lookin for better water. Mite not be much bank fishin till November or December for bigger fish. Eufaula is a great spot too. I usually checked out walmart for bait. Look to see what's missin off the rows and that will help you choose color and style people are hookin em on.
