Hello everyone. We live in Humble, Texas, on the north side of Houston. I just joined and looking forward to learning how to crappie fish. After a 30-plus year sabbatical, just recently got back to enjoying fishing. I don't know how to fish but my wife really enjoy drowning lures and worms.
We enjoy kayaking on Luce Bayou and Cypress Creek because it's too dern hot to fish out on the lake in the middle of summer. We enjoy exploring the backwater swamps away from powerboats and people.

Hope you get to catch a few soon! I'll look for you in the forums here and there and if you need any more info just ask. I fish Houston, Somerville, Fayette, Conroe, and Livingston in that order of times I go. All are good lakes for cats and crappie.
