Hello, all. I am new here and figured I should say hi. I am trying to find the spare time to get back after some swimming wildlife. I fished a lot as a lad with my grandfather before he passed, but have not really been more than a few times a year for the last 10 or so. I have made it my mission to change that. The wife and I picked up a boat in a barn that I am working on. It sat for about 7 years. Johnson 70hp 1976 OB. I got it running and have made a few passes in Hillsdale. It has an issue as if it is running out of gas after about 2 minutes on plane. I have been searching for pin holes and yet to find the culprit. Going step by step with it so I don't end up with a bale of cash in a basketcase. So far i put in new steering cable, water impeller and misc like plugs. Anyway, like i say not much fishing other than bank at Hillsdale and Clinton during some camping trips with the family. Live in Gardner, so they are close. Hopefully, I can meet some good people here and maybe learn a few things about the area. If I get this boat fishing maybe someone will be looking to hitch a ride....or someone just needing someone to hitch along with them to play netman and learn a few things . I would be down for that too!
