Hello my names Phillip I'm from central Kentucky. I have been fishing for about as long as I can remember My dad took me when I was a little boy and I fell in love with it. I now fish with my dad and my girlfriend whose step dad took her fishing as a child and got her hooked. Just goes to show you how important it is to our hobby to take a kid fishing you never know what it will develop into. Other than that I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up so I can get on the water. I normally fish in salt river and catch small fish (preferably crappie) that's where my dad took me as a child. Now me and my father are looking into getting a small boat so we can get on Herrington lake and Cedar Creek lake. I would like to say thank you to Slab this has been the warmest welcome to a forum I have ever experienced. I'm hoping to learn a lot and hopefully share some knowledge.

Crappie.com is not just a Forum thread. We are family here. We suport each help and support each other any way we can.
Crappie.com tournaments, prayer requests, machanical problems, lure - jig tying, rigs and knots and don't forget the awesome contests. You name it we are he for each other, and I woouldn't have it any other way.
Ed (Slab) started it, but it has become more than just a web thread. It's in a way a connection to a family other wise would be scattered to the wind.
Crappie.com has brought us all together. So welcome to the family - feel free to share in our fun.
Wishing you Blue Skies and Tight Lines
