Hello.

I am in far southwest Virginia (Gate City). I have fished all my life....mostly smallmouth. Have never really fished in a lake.

Going to pick up a solo canoe tomorrow. Really looking forward to getting on some smaller, local lakes and trying to catch a few crappie.

I am real impressed with the information on this site.
