Reply With QuoteThank you "G". Crappie fishing used to be my passion in the spring, then I discovered turkey hunting. I guess the "turkey hunting" bug bit me around 2005. I have kind of fallen out of touch with my home lake, Arkabutla. I can be on the ramp and launced in a short time from my home. I have been a few times this summer, but it's a far cry from it's former state, as far as a prime Crappie fishery, is concerned. I had not been able to establish a definite pattern. Other obligations have kept me off the lake for about a month now. However, I plan to go trolling sometime mid week, with my wife, and try and drown a few minners and see if we can find them.
