Default New Member from the Texas Hill Country....

    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the Forum and new to the Texas Hill Country (from West Texas). I've fished and hunted for all of my life (66 years). I'm a life-long Harley rider, wood-turner, metal detector and Welder/Blacksmith. I've always had boats; freshwater fishing is my love even though I lived ten blocks from the ocean for a very very long time (no longer) and spent one or two days a week 15 to 20 miles off-shore in my Mako. I've basically been a Bass fisherman for the last 50 years (combined with the Saltwater aspect), but I miss Crappie fishing very much. I'll need to get back-into-the-groove again and I'm very excited about it. The lakes, in my area, are LBJ, Inks, Buchanan and Belton. I hope to meet some nice people here and maybe get some fishing friends.

to the site. Your in the right area to do all kinds of crappie fishing. Beautiful country too. I'm told there are a number of crappie fishermen
around Lake Belton. But I'm only aware of the kayak fishermen. Bet you make friends fast and get into the groove quickly.
