Greetings Crappie.com members. My name is Brad Hierstetter. I live in Southern Maryland. When not working as a federal civil servant or spending time with my wife and children, I, of course, enjoy fishing. Over the last 10 years or so, I've devoted a considerable amount of my fishing time to learning how to more consistently catch catfish - both smaller and trophy-sized - from the tidal Potomac River and its tributaries.

I'm intrigued by crappie and wish to learn how to consistently catch them throughout the year as well. I'm looking forward to learning from the good folks on this site, and also to sharing my experiences with site members as I hopefully progress to becoming a more consistent crappie angler.
