    Default Greetings from Maryland

I'm a crappie noob, but not a fishing noob. I live in Montgomery county Md. Most of my fishing is in local reservoirs, and the Upper / Lower Potomac river. I do a lot of bass fishing and am into kayak fishing also. I'm hoping to learn more about catching Crappie here from all of you. I catch them but except for the prespawn season, most of my catches are accidental. I'd like to be able to find schools and target these fish more times throughout the year. I caught my biggest ever Crappie about 35 years ago and it was a 14" fish. I think I'm due for a repeat.
