    Default New old guy from Kansas City, Mo.


    I am just getting back to fishing. I have fished all of my life except for the last 7 years I spent all my time and money riding and racing dirtbikes in the woods. I sold my big boat, but got a little 10' pond boat. I didn't use it much but took it out last spring and had a blast fishing, caught a few slabs but a bunch of channel cats.

    Back in 2005 my fishing buddy (Dad) died and I lost interest, got a dirtbike and found a new hobby. It was great, but having to have surgery to get something put back together every year gets old and expensive. Sold my bike, bought a boat to set up like I want for crappie and catfish. 17' Lowe with a 60 hp Merc.

    I fish for Crappie and Catfish, mainly on Truman. I wouldn't mind meeting some people to fish with. 48 years old, and I don't drink. I figured out I catch alot more fish when I'm not drunk!

    yeah,the older you get the harder it is to heal.hope all those injuries does not affect your hook set.good luck

    Glad you're back. I took a 30 yr "vacation" and came back a couple of years ago and am mighty glad I did. Hope you enjoy the return as much as I have.
