    I don't know crap about crappie. I haven't been fishing since I was about 8, a millennium ago. But I see guys catching nice crappie right from the dock and I want to give it a try.

    I'll search the forums for basic, and I mean for the very basics, to get me started. I've bought a light pole, a crappie kit with jig heads and tubes and want to get going.

    Any tips are well appreciated.
