Thread: what is an avatar?

Yes Sir.
In the upper left hand corner of your page, you have your "handle", or "crappiehoarder". That is the location for your avatar, or a picture that
represents you to the rest of us looking at your posts. Mine changes from time to time, as do some others. It takes a little getting used to, but
it also identifies you for almost any reason. When you look at the posts of others, you see many varied "avatars". If you have a place where
you have a collection of photos, you can use them for an avatar by following the instructions under "settings" at the top of the page. In the
left column there is a list of things you can do and make changes. Click on edit my avatar and proceed. Good luck and welcome to the site.
