High everyone my name is Ernie I joined a few weeks ago and have been reading thru several post and threads, thought it was time I introduced myself. I mainly fish theTexas hill country lake mostly Canyon( which is the hardest lake in the state to fish) but it's close and i'm trying to figure it out. I have two boats a 1976 22' searay that i stripper fish the main lake with and a 16' 1975 Invader that i'm trying to learn to crappie fish out of. here is the 1st of I'm sure many questions. this spidder rigging thing is that seasonal or a yr. round tactic? Looking forward to reading learning and sharing.

Welcome from west MI Ernie! The folks down south will have something to say about your question, but I think that you can probably spider rig all year depending on your lake and the water temps. If fish go really deep, rigging may not be the best approach. Lets see what some of the experts think.
