Howdy folks and thanks for the welcomes. I am down in La Porte and cannot wait for this time of year to start fishing the marina's on Somerville and Wright Patman. Don't have a boat so I'm limited to either bumming a ride (splitting gas, bait and groceries of course) or fishing for these delectable creatures wherever I can. In the spring, summer and fall, I'm pretty much of a saltwater guy wading the surf and bays around the Galveston bay complex for trout and flounder throwing mainly topwaters and plastics. Grew up in the Appalachian Mountains fishing lakes, rivers and ponds for bass and bluegill. I love reading the reports on this forum and have learned a tremendous amount from your posts. I'm grateful. Looking forward to posting and meeting you folks. I'm going somewhere this weekend, even with this blasted weather. It's been 5 weeks since I've fished...I've organized and reorganized my tackle box as much as I can....am getting twitchy. Again, thank you. Scott
