    Thanks for the welcomes fellas. Sorry it's taken me this long to reply but I'm down with the flu. I'm new to crappie fishing. Most of my fishing is done by hoop nets and trot lines for catfish. I haven't crappie fished since I was a kid. I live just down the road from Millers Lake and Bayou Chicot, which ate hotspots for crappie in this area. I live in Ville Platte, La.
