Hi Everyone!

Love the site and I frequent the forums and have FINALLY decided to register and become apart of the crappie community. I picked up crappie/panfish fishing about a year ago and I've been having a blast!
I am the newish (been just over a year!) owner of the Lopez Lake Marina which is located in Arroyo Grande, CA near the coast. We do it all here such as boat rentals, tackle shop, restaurant, and a full blown convenience store. I see a lot of fish come through the store as we have an official scale where fisherman come to weigh/take pictures of their catches.

We have some SLABS out here! My biggest is a 2 3/4lb crappie which I caught with my 4'6 Shakespeare Micro Graphite rod, a rod that I impulsed bought but has not failed me yet! I typically fish with a basic tube jig, weight about 12" above and white Berkley crappie nibbles. But of course I mix it up often.

Not my biggest crappie, this one was 2 1/4lbs from last November 2011.
