Thread: silver crappie ?????????????

I caught some black, white and then a silver crappie. I have crappie fished since 1967 and I have never seen a crappie like these. They are silver with a black lateral line running the length of the body. Some called them silver crappie, have any of you ever heard of them. They look like a crappie in all respects except for the color.
