    Default Lake of Egypt


    Does anyoe have any current info on lake temps at lake of Egypt. My son is coming home from college on spring break and he and I was wanting to see about going to Egypt for some crappie. It has been years since I was ther last and then I didnt fish for crappie. Do they spider rig or verticle jig? Thanks in advance for the information.

    Temp Sunday was 50 but we have had two cold days since then. We one poled structure on main lake and in coves and only had 7 fish in about 5hrs. If your looking for numbers right now I would check out Rend Lake or Kinkade the boys on those lakes are catching limits!!!!

    Thanks for the reply. Shelbyville Lake is 25 minutes from home just wanted to try something down south. Will look into Kincaid Lake.
