    Hello to all the crappie fishing finatics Just a quick post to thank you for letting me in . I enjoy Crappie fishing as much as i do Bass fishing which is ALOT. Being in a canoe I have alot of advantages and alot of disadvantages but for the most part enjoy the hell outta the cool weather slappin slabs jiggin .
    My name is Thomas Schmidt Aka ( Swamptoad ) I reside in Florida way down south. I am 45 yrs young and I have a 4 yr old son Conner who is jiggin like a pro with a cane pole and rod n reel combo. He is currently learning about being in the canoe and fishing from it which is a good thing because next year this time we will be camping and fishing our butts off at okeechobee for a week. I love catching crappie by jigs alone but theres always that time when in need on the minnow tip.
    I hope to meet up with or catch up with anyone who fishes in florida as in the future will be doing ALOT of up and comming trips with my son for some slabs.
