Welcome Boo Boo! I'm also from S.La I live off the levee in Catahoula between Butte la rose and Lake Fausse point! I also fish sacalait in all the surrounding areas like Henderson, Benoit, Butte la Rose, Sandy cove etc! I fish mostly sacalait but at times I'll chase the bass the basin has some of the best sacalait fishing around!!

Lafayette here glad to meet you. I've just joined this site and hoping to learn a lot of new stuff. My wife and I just took a trip to Fausse point to check it out. Just got a new boat a couple of weeks ago. Looking for some close places to go and the State park there looked great to me. I'm going to start fishing Henderson a lot also.
