There isn't an Idaho board yet so you might have to get one started. Bet there's somebody else out there from your neck o' the woods. Welcome from west MI.

Thanks guys, (being from South Carolina originally) Idaho isn't know to be a slab state but I have been pleasantly surprised at the great crappie fishing I have found up here! In early summer it is normal to boat a fair amount of 1-2 # slabs. We cannot use any minnows so it is artificial only. I am reduced to ice fishing this time of year a little jealous of you guys down south. It is a challenge to find the crappie through the ice (for a southern boy). Any suggestions would help!

Come on over to the Michigan board and give an ask. I'm not the expert but Skillett007, Ready2fish, Crappie1 and 2, and a few others are avid.

Welcome from Missouri, just look down on the main forum page and look up any state you are interested knowing about the fishing in. Tons of fishing reports.
