Hellow everyone...Retired and moved down to Ark--Bull Shoals Lake about 10 years ago. Avid bass and walleye angler for many years. Fished tournaments for over 30 years. Never was much of a crappie guy but have fallen in love with their persuit. Good crappie populations here on Bull Shoals, blacks, whites and black nose. Most success has come from trolling (single jigs) i.e. swimming minnows and casting the shallow brush in spring. Scanning the web and looking for trolling tips and tactics has led me to crappie.com. Read some member suggestions on trolling dual jigs using Capps & Coleman techniques. Looking forward to getting out soon and giving the suggestions a try. Water temp here around 45-50 degrees, but suprisingly some good catches are being reported. No burning questions right now, just looking forward to being a member and sharing experiences.
