I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself.
My name is Joe and I am pretty new to crappie fishing. In the past I have focused most of my time in archery and bow hunting but during the last couple years I have seemed to acquire arthritis in my feet which seems to hamper my hunting especially in the winter months. I have always liked fishing but hunting was my number 1 hobby. I have recently decided to move more towards fishing due to the issue previously stated and more importantly its something I can do more with my kids and wife if she pleases.
I have never been able to get into a good mess of fish. I hope to learn a good deal of information here and maybe contribute a thing or 2 as I learn.
I inherited a 14' Mirrocraft aluminum boat from my grandfather who avidly fished Nimisilla Lake in Ohio. I plan to mainly fish Atwood Lake and hopefully some of you here can share a tip or 2 about Atwood. I'm about 1.2 hour south of Nimisilla but I'm not fond of all the submerged weeds. It seems I spend more time cleaning the trolling motor prop off then I do fishing.banghead
