id like to introduce my self to a wonderfull board of knowledge

first of my handle is hidef- my name is daryn.......im from salem indiana.
im 35 , married, and love fishing....used to be a avid bass fisher in the sandpitts of south carolina were i grew up most my life with my step pop, who made me the man i am..

since i moved back to indiana to spend the last bit of my ailing pops life with him- i have been seriously into crappie....mostly lakes hardeer to reach and less people populated...

from 20yrs to 30yrs my pop took me fishing all the time every were,..now he has copd is 56 yrs young and has 22 percent of his lungs left and is 88 pounds......he doesnt fish or much walk anymore.....is my best friend .....sometimes i load him up and take him to lake salinda and park close as i can to the bank......let him cast a time or 2 and pray he catches something......then after hes wore out in 10-15 min i take him home......but those times{few and far between realy brightens him up..}.......ive just about lost my fishing buddy and friend now......but ill never forget any single fishing trip or TIP he has given me.......love ya pop....


i fish potters , my favorite lake, by bank , no boat.......i try john hay , i try salinda, and i try some others im not sure of names,,,,,,but potters is my get away place...


guys im glad i stumbled on this site, glad i joined,, and im greatfull if i make some friends here..

and i simple love to read more than i enjoy talking....

thanks to all- and thanks for such a good forum thats just what i needed.....i have no one else to learn from....
