    Thanks for the welcome. I recently moved back "home" to Kansas from Arkansas. I started getting serious about fishing while in AR and spent quite a bit of time trout fishing in the clear, cold rivers there. I am VERY new to crappie fishing and I'm trying to learn all I can. I don't have a boat, so all my fishing will have to be from the bank. I regret now not spending time with my sister-in-law's father who was an avid crappie fisherman. He passed away quite a while ago now though. Fact is he was fishing when he passed. The Sheriff found him on the bank with his mess of crappie and gear lying beside him.
