    Thanks G3, you must be a moderator as I just now registered!!! But, good to be welcomed.
    One reason I joined is a planned trip in Sept to Lake Ouachita...starts on Sept 20. We rent a houseboat and there will be 8 guys all from my company. This will be the third time to do this but, the first time in the fall of the year.
    I am an avid crappie fisherman and would love to find some crappie on Ouachita but, previous attempts were completely unsuccessful.
    I am almost 100% jig fisherman but, would go to other lures or minnows if that is what it takes.
    Sure would appreciate any help anyone can give.
    And again, thanks for the welcome!
