Hello to all crappie.com members
I am new to the site and already I am in awe at the great amount of knowledge posted here. I am 52 yrs. old and love to fish. I passed that love down to my 2 sons as well. We would rather fish than eat when we're hungry, and thats all the time it seems. I played drums going all over the country for years, the last 18 years it has been just southern gospel with Redeemed. Now I just fill in at church and from time to time do some studio work. I am retired from the carpet yarn industry so I try to keep my honey do list as low as possible to allow timme for fishing and golf. Thankfully I am better at fishing than my golf game. I was referred here by Lightwirehooker after meeting him a few weeks ago and getting hooked on those light wire jigs. I fish mainly at lake talquin for the big uns that grow down there. I believe in obeying the rules and looking out for the young fishermen coming up by taking only what I can use. I catch a few and from time to time get stumped, like I had never fished. I fish out of a Basstracker Panfish 16 and love longline trolling and bumping stumps. Look forward to learning from the guys on here that have lots more crappie skills than me. Thanks for having me as a member.
