New fly Rod?

I will soon be purchasing a new fly rod and reel combo, I have been looking at the White River Fly Shop Hobbs Creek Complete Fly Outfit from BP Shops this rod is $129. The rod an reel combo I am interested in is the 9' 5wt 2 piece rod the reel will have WF4F line on it. Keep in mind I will only be bream fishing with this combo. My question is do you think this rod will fit my needs or do I need to go with the shorter 8'6 rod with WF6F line on it? I know there are better combos out there but I like the price point of this rod and as long as I can get it to roll 30-40 feet I wil be fine.

Is that a typo? A 4wt line on a 5wt rod?

A 5wt will cast a 4wt line, but a 5wt line would be better.

Regardless, that would be a great outfit for bluegill.

I think it's a Bass Pro typo.

They list a 4wt line for the 6wt rod and a 6wt line for the 5wt rod. Gotta be a mistake.

Or, just call the store and ask to talk to someone in the fly shop.

If you actually visit the store, I'm sure they will put the correct line on there for you.

Orvis makes good stuff, and their customer service is world class. I don't think you can go wrong with one of their outfits.

I don't know where you are in Georgia, but there's an Orvis store in Atlanta (Buckhead) if you wanted to check it out.
